There are a few reasons you’ll need an EIN (Employer ID Number or Employer Tax Number).
1. You need to open a bank account.
2. You want to hire employees.
It’s very easy to get your EIN number, and yet some companies will charge you an extra fee up to one hundred dollars to help you get it! Unbelievable, but that’s what’s out there.
Here at Start Indiana Business we’ve been giving away the information about how to get your EIN for free for over a decade.
We just don’t think if we charge you $100 for a phone number to talk to an IRS representative that you’re going to be too thrilled with us. Is that right?
Here’s the process::
1. Incorporate with us.
2. We will email you a link to an EIN (Tax-ID) online questionnaire with the IRS. There is also a phone number if you wish to call and process it by phone instead.
3. Complete the online questionnaire in about 10 minutes and get your EIN (Tax-ID) on the spot for Free.
We don’t make a secret of getting the EIN like some companies do. No secret to it.
How can a company charge for helping you receive your EIN? In good conscious we can’t – so it’s included in whatever Indiana incorporation type you choose.
Another great reason to choose us to help enable you to complete everything you need to start your new Indiana business.
Every Indiana incorporation we do:

There are good points and not so good points about choosing each type of corporation. Your job will be choosing the corporation that fits the company you want to create with the state of Indiana. Read over this list of four pro’s and con’s for each type of corporation offered by Indiana State and see which one (or more) might be appropriate for your new Indiana business.

Subchapter S Profit Corporation Pro’s and Con’s
Research as much as you can until you’re sure that you’ve chosen the right type of corporation for your Indiana business. Only lawyers can give legal advice – but accountants can give tax advice which helps a lot too. See if you can make an appointment with your accountant to go over the benefits of each type of corporation. Be careful as accountants often want to charge you a few hundred dollars more than what we charge here! In short, find out as much as possible and begin your incorporation by choosing the correct online form in the white links with the dark blue background at the top of this (and every) page.
Best of luck!
